Israel have been systematically carring out a so called cultural Genocide on Palestinians.

For decades, Israeli efforts to erase Palestine have unfolded in several ways: the systematic destruction of Palestinian homes and land paired with forced displacement, the killing and institutionalized discrimination imposed on Palestinians, and a sustained campaign of cultural genocide.
During and after 1948, Nakba, more than 60 000 books have been looted from Palestinian private and public libraries. Many of these books are still kept in the National Library of Israel, in an archive and are labeled as Abandoned Property. An Israeli governmental agency, the Custodian of Absentee properties, claims the ownership of these books.

Through this project a series of 13 books were re-made from the found pictures of stolen Palestinian books. They were then exhibited in an group exhibition at the Bergsjön Cultural house on north-east of Gothenburg.
